Thank You, Boot City!
Leon Mercer is right - "country music is here". Boot City deserves much praise for bringing quality musical talent to the Wabash Valley area. I had the pleasure of enjoying Leon with Rich Anderson and Lloyd Wood, (see Boot City's upcoming events) and I must say it was a great show. After knowing Leon for most of my life, I have had the joy of playing drums behind him and the praise band at Carbon Baptist Church. While playing in various entertainment venues for nearly fifty years I have found as much talent here in the Terre Haute area as anywhere. Thank you Boot City for your efforts...check it out...you will not be disappointed.

I have seen all your shows this season so far. I enjoyed them all but one. Keep up the great work. You have a very lovely place and the choices you are making for classic country is super.

COUNTRY MUSIC IS HERE- JUST LOOK FOR IT
In response to Mr. Lawson's recent letter, real country music is hard to find but is available in the Indiana/Illinois area if you know where to find it.
First of all, Rod O'Kelley at Boot City ofers a variety of music, including country, at his Opry shows on Saturday nights. One of his best shows features Lloyd Wood, a great country entertainer. As a steel guitar player of more than 50 years, I recently had the opportunity to tour Florida with the Rich Anderson Show featuring Mr. Wood and he is a tremendous talent.
It is apparent that the Terre Haute area should support an entertainment venue with the local talent available.

Thank you very much for creating this much needed entertainment center for us. I live in Carlisle and am 81 years old, consequently, do not travel very far for shows. This location is ideal for all of us in surrounding counties. With friends, I attended the "Hoosier Swing Band" show and the "Rocking Terry Lee" show. I thought the swing band was very, very good and Terry Lee really rocks! I loved it and so did my friends. Thank you again for all the enjoyment the shows bring to us.
