He’s traveled Hank Williams’ Lost Highway from Nashville to Broadway…and now he’s bringing his award-winning sounds of the country music legend out on the road.

Jason Petty has won critical acclaim all over the country for his surreal performance as country legend Hank Williams in the off-Broadway hit Hank Williams’ “Lost Highway’”. So much so that his performance racked up 5 nominations in New York’s award ceremonies for Best Actor. Now, this multi-talented singer/actor/musician is bringing his own tribute show out on the road for. This new show is called “Hank and my Honky Tonk Heroes” and showcases Jason’s uncanny ability to capture the sounds of Hank Williams. The show takes audiences back in time to the very beginnings of country music and pays homage not only to Williams, but also to other country legends, such as Jimmie Rodgers, Roy Acuff, Ernest Tubb, Webb Pierce, George Jones, and many more.

Two very good friends and I were at your show tonight (3-28-11) at Derby Dinner Playhouse, Clarksville, Indiana…thank you and your band for a great show…I sat with my eyes closed most of the time and sang along while you were singing all those wonderful timeless songs of the great one, Hank Sr. I had been told you performed a great Hank and we were all quite surprised at your ability in copying his style with his songs…as you said, there will never be another person in Country Music who has had as much of an effect on the present day and future country music singers…albeit the crossover/pop people today just don’t have drive and/or hunger that Hank, George Jones, Alan Jackson, Zac Brown, Waylon and Willie, Kitty Wells, Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette, Dolly Parton and Porter, and all the others who paved the way for country music as we know it today…I’ll always love the old style of Hank Sr, Carl Smith, Marty Robbins, Faron Young, Webb Pearce, Hank Snow, Hank Lockland, Ferlin Husky – I think you’ll see where I’m going with this…once again, THANKS A BUNCH for a GREEEEEAAAAAATT SHOW…Bob, Kevin & Worden
